Archaeological Dig

Spend a day taking part in an archaeological dig at the Gage Home, or just come to watch. Last summer’s excavation unearthed children’s toys, pieces of china, and other fragments of everyday life of the past. Leading the project is Kim Christensen, a doctoral candidate in archaeology at UC-Berkeley. Volunteers are needed both for work in the field and in the lab.

Dig starts Monday, August.4. It continues Tuesday through Saturdays, 8 am -4 pm., through August.
