…The reasoning behind honoring Wagner and the museum was simple. They follow the best practices of museums today: relevancy and engagement. The museum decided early on to focus on Gage’s ideas rather than simply being a historic house dedicated to artifacts. That was easy, Wagner said, because Gage was so forward-thinking.
