Dr. Lindsey Cormack, to speak about her book How to Raise a Citizen (and Why It’s Up to You to Do It).In this live presentation, Dr. Cormack will discuss with parents and educators how to teach kids about politics, government, and citizenship in a way that is engaging, practical, and non-partisan. She is offering us the guidebook to nurturing the next generation of responsible, informed citizens. Educational information and books will be available during the event.

Dr. Lindsey Cormack – BIO
Lindsey Cormack, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the DCinbox Project at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. She has authored two books, How to Raise a Citizen (And Why it's Up to You to Do It) and Congress and U.S. Veterans: From the GI Bill to the VA Crisis.Her research has been published in Political Behavior, Congress & the Presidency, American Politics Research, and The Legislative Scholar, (among many others) as well as in popular outlets including the New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC News, The Hill, FOX, and more.
